When asked what do we do @Vinylbomb it can be pretty complicated to answer. Some get the impression we are simply a print shop. Vinylbomb as a company has decided to quit the “print” business. We have plenty of grand format equipment, but we are not just a “print shop.” We are so much more than that. Having that label does no justice for our diverse skill set. Collectively we have 80 years of experience as creative designers, engineers and makers. All of us come from different backgrounds to create Vinylbomb, a company that has done work for some of the biggest brands in the world. Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Prada and Hermes to name a few. Our ideas have traveled across the world during the COVID outbreak. The “Rodkey Face Shield” open source template made its way to the UK, South America, Europe, Switzerland and Australia.

We are trained to profile, repair and bypass standard features of printers, pushing equipment to limits they were never meant to achieve. Ink on Water is just the tip of the iceberg. We are not going to be the cheapest shop that can be found, but we are believers in, “you get what you pay for”. When you contract us you are not just getting a product. You are receiving a customized solution that we pour our heart and soul into. There is not a generic answer to anything we work on and there is definitely nothing impossible about it either. The rules of what we do have to constantly be broken, but not before they are fully understood. The materials we use change frequently and there are limitless options to choose from. The ability to understand end user application and the limits of material takes years of experience in order to predict an outcome good, bad or indifferent. Understanding a picoliter or a compression cut is not something our customer needs to know or even worry about. It’s what we do and part of what we breathe.

Every project is unique and that is what we love about working with our clients. Printing on astroturf, creating six foot high letters two feet deep with a cork face and wrapped in a Pantone color, we once made a ping pong paddle to scale out of mirror gold acrylic, we wrapped an entire train station in one of the busiest hubs in the world, we have produced top notch exhibition work for the prestigious Princeton University, Rebranded games at Six Flags amusement parks and installed displays at Bergdorf Goodman on 5th ave in NYC. We are also known for Creating hybrids of different print technologies to make some thing truly one of a kind.
We are not button pushers or job nesters. We do not use the same papers / substrates day in and day out because the demands of each job are unique. We are creative thinkers and problem solvers, makers of real world solutions and have an open mind to retool as necessary. The next time someone asks what does Vinylbomb do the answer is as follows. We are creative engineers, designers, trouble shooters, painters, acrylic and wood fabricators, installers, CNC and laser technicians, color experts, project managers and most of all people who care about and create sustainable relationships with their clients.
